The Kasaragod District Co-Operative Hospital
The Kasaragod District Co-operative Hospital Society Ltd. No. 42 is a Co- operative Society was established on 30-05-1988 at Kumbla. The society has been rendering services in the healthcare sector ever since.
The Society is running Hospital units at Kumbla, Chengala and Mulleria and has been in the healthcare sector for the past 33 years serving the ailing population of north Kasaragod. There are 35 permanent doctors , 37 Visiting Doctors and 296 staff members working in the three hospitals owned by the Society. Around 1500 patients visit these hospitals each day and avail the services.
The Society has received special commendation for the services rendered during Covid and was ranked as the third in two consecutive years as the best hospital in the co-operative sector in the state.
